Fun in the Sun!
Perfect conditions which definitely added to the enjoyment. Take the weather out of it as not guaranteed, the event is really well organised, friendly event team and volunteers. Excellent for beginners through to athletes looking for a PB.
Really enjoyed

a brilliant evening!
We were a bunch of first timers at the aquathlon. We loved the super clear race pack, the ideal car parking facilities, super friendly volunteers & marshalls, clear briefing, scenic swim, lovely run course - beautiful medal too, and oooh the swim caps.
Suggestions to make it even better (though that'd be hard): maybr loud(er) marshalling at 3k turnaround point as some runners were a bit hesitant when getting to the 'first sign' (they asked, they were told, and all was well. And yes of course we should all listen to the briefing carefully...).
Also if possible, less waves and less salt in the water... oh wait, it's called the sea.
Thanks again, a lot, to all involved, good things don't happen without lots of good people putting lots of time and energy into it.
We'll be back.

It’s a challenging swim
Full credit to the Marshalls and water safety team! They were brilliant and very reassuring.
Better sign posting and a clear taped off route to the grass finish arch needed though!

Bringing dreams to life
This event really did bring my wife's dream alive of being able to become a triathlete. Your Water safety team came to her from the beginning and stuck with her the whole way. They never let her give up and encouraged her across the finish line, they made her a tunnel where they clapped her into the shore when she was the last woman standing. And then on the 5k run your tail walker was so happy and friendly it kept her motivated to not give up and then we met your medic on a bycicle and oh my word. He cycled with us until we finally caught another runner and passed them where he then fell back to ensure their safe return to the finish line. We absolutely adored your event and we will be at the other 2 to complete the series. This time though I won't be taking the timing chip home oops
